The first lodge (The Rio Branco Duck Lodge) is an upgrade to the Los Gauchos original Uruguay Duck Hunting Club. We have moved and upgraded to a private rice farm with duck blinds only 5 minutes from the lodge. So the schedule for this Uruguay duck hunting trip includes warm coffee, warm breakfast all early morning but no prep for long drives to the blinds. Just get ready for the very short drive to the Uruguay duck hunting blind and away you go with some of the best duck hunting in Uruguay.
The 2nd lodge is a NEW addition to the Los Gauchos Uruguay duck hunting options. Fortin is a long standing destination that has been in operation for over 20 years. Many repeat duck hunters, so the Fortin Uruguay Duck lodge does book quickly.
The guide who operates Fortin is a Uruguayan who has more experience with Uruguay bird hunting than any other outfitter or individual in Uruguay. Los Gauchos Outfitters is proud to provide this top ranked Uruguay duck hunting lodge and destination during the Uruguay duck hunting season. This part of Uruguay (near the Brazilian border in the town of Chuy), also has a good supply of Uruguay Perdiz.
So during the Perdiz hunting season of May, June, and July duck hunters can take advantage of Uruguay ducks and Uruguay Perdiz.

The Fortin Lodge is a classic, old fort that is reserved for waterfowl hunters during the duck hunting season in Uruguay. Large with lots of history and duck hunting that is unbelievable. The dinners with fresh barbecue is a treat for those duck hunting in Uruguay with Los Gauchos Outfitters.
